4 days Hike in Ait bougumez happy valley

In central high Atlas, we invite you to go for hiking in Ait Bougumez valley, nicknamed « Happy valley ». it is located in the heart of the moroccan high Atlas, between 1800 and 2050 meters above sea level. 4 days trek in happy valley will alow you to discover an outhentic and well preserved Amazigh culture.

 1: Marrakech to the Happy Valley, Ait Said Village

 Departure from Marrakech in the morning towards the Ait Bougmez Valley in the High Atlas Central, passing through the small town of Azilal. Then, we will continue on the road towards the Tizi pass (2600m), where we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the M’goun massif mountain range, as well as the Happy Valley and several peaks exceeding 3600 meters in altitude. Finally, we will descend towards Ait Said village.

Day 2: Ait Said Village to Tabant Village

We leave Ait Said village through the orchards along the Ait Bougmez river. The daily life of the Berbers unfolds, along with the diversity of landscapes. We will continue towards the villages of Agerd Nouzrou, with beautiful traditional fortified houses, where we will have lunch in the shade of large walnut trees. Then we will continue our journey towards Tabant village where we will spend the night. Night in bivouac, 5 hours of walking.

Day 3: Tabant Village to Ahbbak Village

 After breakfast, we will head towards Ait Imi village to see traditional water mills, then towards the dinosaur tracks in Ibakliwn village. Next, we will continue our hike towards the Adzen ridge where we will have lunch before descending and heading to the Ahbbak bivouac. 6 hours of walking.

Day 4: Ahbbak to Sidi Moussa to Marrakech

 We head towards Timit village and climb towards the ancient collective granary of Sidi Moussa. Once we reach the top, we will be delighted by a breathtaking view of the entire valley. Without a doubt, it will be a magnificent panorama to conclude our hike in the Happy Valley. Then, we will take the road back to Marrakech
